2011 election fallout:the issue of regional politics

The 2011 elections though now past brought back smiles on the faces of Nigeria as well as memories.One of them being the politics in the 1st republic.That was a period were the 3 main parties controlled their regions,parties like the NDP in the north,the AG in the west and the UPGA in the east and south.This is already sneaking its way into the Nigerian politics of today with the CPC and ANPP controlling most parts of the north,the AC taking over the west and PDP still controlling the east and south.With this new development,i advise that the electoral body that is INEC trim the number of parties to a maximum of 4 and a mi nimum of 3.
