FOI bill,why it is important

Over the weeks,the FOI bill has been a debating issue in the national assembly.Recently,both the house and the senate have passed it waiting for the bill to be signed into law by the president.When the bill is passed,we will have the access to certain information like assets and all others.In a democratic world,the citizens have the right to know what they want to know trhat is happening in the government.The President has no excuse this time not to sign it for it is part of the democracy dividends they all taik about.I want to thank representative MRS Abike Dabiri who has pursued this bill to the last for it is because of her relentless effort that it was possible.
